Tharp
Two children of Margaret Shuck (1768-1852) and Perry (Parra) Tharp (abt1757-1845)
migrated to Sullivan County:
Jeremiah McPherson Tharp (1805-1888) and Margaret Tharp (1795/6-abt1875);
she married 08 Oct 1833 at Washington Co. Kentucky (uncited) to
Andrew or Anderson Mullins.
Margaret (Tharp) Mullins is found in the 1850 census with her daughter
Lucretia in Sullivan County, so I suspect the husband died and
she went to be with her brother Jeremiah.
There was another line of Tharp's in Sullivan County,
descended from a G. W. (George Washington?) Tharp (abt1820-aft1880)
who was born in Maryland. I have not seen a relationship between the
two groups.
