      pending.)

1880 census at Tipton Co. IN (transcription in LGS book) lists families
for three Shuck's born in KY: William (1834-), John W. (1854-) and John T. (1853).
Inspection of the actual census schedules may reveal other Shuck's.

1850 Henry Co. Census at Henry Co. KY gives clues based on match of
names and birth years that James (1823-1918) and William (1834-)
  may be sons of Samuel-3 (Cornelius-2, Andrew-1). William (1834-)
listed in Samuel's household. James (1823-) and his wife and children
  listed next.

Tipton Co. - Other

James B. Shuck (1839-aft1880) was a son of Levi Shuck (1817-1894) and Eliza Kitson and apparently moved around quite a bit. It appears that he spent a few years in Tipton County, Indiana from the early 1870's to before 1880 where he is found in the census at Shelby County, Kentucky. I have not seen any actual records or proof of a residency in Tipton County, however. Sometime after the 1880 census, the family reportedly went to Kokomo, Indiana which is in Howard County which adjoins Tipton. He and wife Edna Moore Shuck probably died there; some look-ups pending. See James B. Shuck (1839-aft1880) and family

Jefferson Co.

  Known:
    Magdalena-2 (Helena) Shuck (1763VA-abt1840) (Andrew-1)
marr. (1) Henry Duryea, (2) Cornelius Banta
She apparently died at Jefferson Co. abt 1840.

  Other:
In 1880 a James P. Shuck (b. 1833 KY), Mary and family living there.

Ripley Co.

  Known Families & some descendants:
      - Henry Shuck (Cal1825-Aft1860) & Elizabeth Tyson (Cal1825-Aft1860)
      - John (1845/7-), s/o Henry (Cal1825-Aft1860)
      - Andrew J. Shuck (1839-) & Mary Alice Kerr.
He s/o Andrew Shuck and Elizabeth Mitchell.

  1880 census
From listings in Larry Shuck book:
       - John (Cal 1845/7-) Shuck and Mary, he s/o Henry (Cal 1825-aft1860)
       - A lot of "Shook", a couple "Schuck".

Numerous Shook's were present in Ripley Co. 1830-1840's and after.
These were apparently descendants of John N. Shook (1788-1838),
line E.1, who was born in Germany.
A few "Schuck" were present in Ripley Co. ca. 1880, do not see any connection.

Marion & Jefferson Co.

A William Poland (Est 1773-) marr. Mary "Polly" Shuck (Est1778-) daughter of Andrew Shuck (ca1733-1803). They apparently migrated to Switzerland County, Indiana between 1820 and 1830.

A William Poland lived in Marion Co. Indiana where he was awarded land patents in 1828 and 1830 and is found there in the 1840 census. However, this Marion Co. William Poland is reported to have died in 1856 in Hendricks County, Indiana and is apparently NOT the William who married Polly Shuck.

Clyde Washington Polen was son of James Poland (1780-aft1830) and Mary "Polly" Shuck (est1780-bef1846). Clyde was born 7 September 1812 at Pleasureville, Henry Co., Kentucky; died 9 December 1898 at (reportedly) Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana; and buried at Azalia Methodist Cemetery, Bartholomew Co., Indiana. However, all records I have show Clyde living at Bartholomew County.

Jennings Co.

Abraham Shuck (1822-aft1880), s/o Andrew Shuck and Constantine Banta, h/o Abigail Vanantwerp in Jennings Co. IN for 1870 census with five children: William (21), Ursula (18), John (16), Peter (11) and Sarah (17); also Maria Vantwerp (71). 1880 census with one son Peter (age 21) and nephew Francis M. (age 10).

Bartholomew Co.

Clyde Washington Polen was only son of James Poland (1780-aft1830) and Mary "Polly" Shuck (est1780-bef1846). (James Poland (1780-aft1830) and Mary "Polly" Shuck (est1780-bef1846) apparently last found 1830 in Barren County, Kentucky.)

Harrison Co.

The Shuck group in Harrison Co. were descendants of Johann Martin Shuck.
